Under The Captain, just added to Candy Shorts

Under The Captain: the premise in our words

We only summarise a story after seeing it, so the plot notes follow after our viewing. The part list and prices below come from the daily library check.

Under The Captain pricing, token by token

Put simply: the ending of Under The Captain costs one month of the Premium allowance, unless you buy a token pack on top. Current plan prices sit on the tokens and Premium page, and the free parts guide lists everything you can watch for nothing.

Streaming Under The Captain: devices, captions, sign-in

To watch Under The Captain you only need a browser pointed at candy.ai. A phone gives the full-screen portrait picture the series was made for, a laptop shows it framed by empty space, and adding the site to your home screen gives you an app-like icon.

Seven caption tracks are available from the player menu: English, French, German, Spanish, Italian, Portuguese and Japanese, and you can switch between them without restarting the part.

First visit? Hit play on part 1 from the series screen; Candy AI only asks for an account when you reach part 2. One login covers every device, so a series begun on the phone continues on the laptop at the same part.

Before you press play on Under The Captain

1. You can leave registration for later. Part 1 runs without it; the free profile only matters once part 2 asks for it.
2. Budget for 12 tokens per locked part. The 100 tokens that come with a Premium month stretch to 8 of them.
3. Pick the caption language inside the player before the dialogue starts.
4. Treat any "leak" or "full video" link with suspicion: our notes on leaked copies and full episodes explain why they never contain the real parts.
5. The card statement will say EverAI, the Maltese company behind Candy AI; the legit or not page covers billing and cancelling.
