Not Under My Roof, reviewed: the mother-in-law's private party

Not Under My Roof: the premise in our words

His mother-in-law cancels his bachelor party in front of the whole family. Not under her roof, she says.

An hour later, with her daughter asleep upstairs, she offers him a private alternative, and her two friends come in through the back door.

Free parts: the cancelled party

The two free parts are the public refusal and the private offer. Part 1 plays with no account.

Parts 3 to 5: the back door

Streaming Not Under My Roof: devices, captions, sign-in

Not Under My Roof streams from candy.ai inside a normal browser tab, with nothing to install. Every part is shot in portrait for one-handed phone viewing; on a monitor the player sits as a slim column in the middle of the screen.

Seven caption tracks are available from the player menu: English, French, German, Spanish, Italian, Portuguese and Japanese, and you can switch between them without restarting the part.

Before you press play on Not Under My Roof

1. You can leave registration for later. Part 1 runs without it; the free profile only matters once part 2 asks for it.
2. Budget for 12 tokens per locked part. The 100 tokens that come with a Premium month stretch to 8 of them.
3. Pick the caption language inside the player before the dialogue starts.
4. Treat any "leak" or "full video" link with suspicion: our notes on leaked copies and full episodes explain why they never contain the real parts.
5. The card statement will say EverAI, the Maltese company behind Candy AI; the legit or not page covers billing and cancelling.
